Mountain Thyme is honored to host a Creative Writing Workshop and Retreat being given by Annette Smith, whose lastest titles include Watermelon Days & Firefly Nights, The Whispers of Angels, and Sweeter Than Honey.

The retreat begins Friday evening and ends at noon on Sunday. This will be a relaxed, focused retreat for beginning and intermediate writers. (This is not for those interested in writing for children. That is a totally different market with which Annette is not familiar.)

The workshop will include lectures, writing assignments, questions & answers, discussion, and a scheduled 30 minute one-on-one manuscript critique/consultation. (If an attendee has a manuscript, or the beginings of one, it may be sent ahead of time so that Annette can be ready with suggestions.) Annette will be sending an EMail to attendees in advance of the retreat with more details about what to expect and how to best prepare for the weekend.

All meals, (non-alcoholic) beverages and snacks will be furnished by Mountain Thyme.

The online Availability calendar will show all rooms booked for the retreat dates only because the entire inn is side aside for the retreat. Actual availability is show below.

Cost
• 2 nights in the room you book, ($125, $165, or $225 per night, double occupancy).
  Subtract $10 per night for single occupancy.
  This includes breakfasts Saturday and Sunday.
• $35 per person for other meals.
  This includes heavy hors d'eurves Friday night ($10), lunch Saturday ($10) and dinner Saturday night ($15).
• $125 per person actually attending the workshop.
  If your spouse or friend comes with you, but does not participate in the workshop, the workshop charge is $125. If both room occupants participate, the workshop charge is $125 each.
